When was the R.J. Leonard Foundation founded, and why?
RJLF was launched in 2008 by Jo Leonard in memory of her father, Robert James Leonard. His passion for education, along with Jo’s experience working with young adults, inspired her to start the foundation in his name.
Can we meet your Fellows?
That depends on the wishes of the individual Fellows with whom we are currently working, as they sometimes prefer to keep their identities confidential. We will be posting updates on their progress and stories in our blog.
Are there mentoring opportunities available?
We are always looking to introduce our Fellows to individuals who can assist them in their journey toward self-sufficiency and adulthood. If you work for a company that offers summer jobs or internships or if you would like to work with us to assist one of our Fellows in their endeavors, we invite you to contact our Executive Director, Jo Leonard, via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you have internships and other volunteer opportunities?
We regularly have internship opportunities available, and we also encourage you to volunteer. We rely on the talents of our volunteers. Please visit our Get Involved page for details.
Can someone from RJLF present at my school or church?
Yes, absolutely. We can be ready to present within a short period of a request and welcome all opportunities to tell the community about our amazing Fellows. Please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
Do you accept computer and car donations?
Yes, as these are both items typically needed by our Fellows. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can evaluate how you can best help us with your donation.
